| Herne Bay is located on the North Kent Coast. The historic Cathedral City of Canterbury is just 8 miles away. Meanwhile, Whitstable, famous for it's oysters, is just 4 miles away and can in fact be reached on foot via the sea wall !
In recent years there has been great investment in the town including the £3.5 million Neptune's Arm Sea Defence, a new sewerage pumping station improving bathing quality, improvement to public gardens and parkland and most recently a revitalisation of food and drink facilities on the sea front with the arrival of JD Wetherspoons and Thorley Taverns.
