|   West Cliff and Hampton are to the west of the Pier. The area boasts residential property with extensive sea views and the area is also home to the Herne Bay Sailing Club and Beach Huts. The Hampton area has also benfited from improvements with Sea Defences and the Trim Trail circuit training course. From here your can walk the sea wall to Whitstabe via Tankerton.
