- We have received an email from Stephen Finch who reports that Herne Bay was used as a location in "Upstairs Downstairs" when he was at Herne School when the epesode was filmed at the break out of the War. He also reports that a lot of "Some Mothers Do Ave Em" was filmed in The Bay.
